Heat Circuit Troubleshooting
- Possible Solutions
- Motor is defective
- Resettable Safety Thermostat has tripped. Push to reset.
- Ignition control or "grey box" is defective
- Air flow switch is not pulling in
- Glass fuse is blown
- Spark Electrode (ceramic) is defective
- Temp probe under the dryer basket is damaged or wire connections are loose
- Main CPU control is defective
- 120 to 24vac transformer is defective. Test for voltage.
- Back draft air damper in the duct is stuck closed
- Membrane switch (touch pad) is damaged
- High limit thermostat is being tripped or damaged
- Issues with the low voltage ignition harness connected to the ignition control
- Gas supply issues or gas valve is defective
- Need to test voltage throughout heat circuit
